Hi, welcome to my homepage!
During the year 2002 to 2003, I was fortunate enough to be able to go to Takasaki, Japan for a work placement.
Since then, I have returned to the UK to continue with my studies, but I haven't forgotten everything about Japan.
This homepage helps me relive some good times that I had. I have been meaning to update this page now for a while, but for a long time, I didn't know what to say or how I should say it.
First and foremost, I want to say a big "domo arigatougozaimashita" to everyone in Japan that I met, in no particular order, everyone at Macro, Inc.,
Shatchou, Fujimaki-san, Mr. Fousset, Kano-san, Shiozawa-san, Takahashi-san, Douwaki-san, Naito-san, Yokota-san, Sema-san... there are too many people at Macro!! Of course,
I cannot forget all the other friends I had outside of Macro, Mika, Mika (yes, there are two of you!), Gordan, everyone on the Gunma JETs football team, all my Japanese teachers, Takako-san, Eji-san,
Lynne, Yuon, Sung Sil, Saori, Fumino, err... Mr. Fumino (!), Masami-san, Tomoyuki-san, Ryota-kun, Mary-Ann, Sanae-san, Amil... I'm sure that I have missed some people on here, I apologise for that!
In Japan, I enjoyed some of my happiest moments in my life so far and also one of my saddest moments - when the time came to leave. Looking back now, I still cannot believe that one year passed so quickly, it is true that you really don't know what you have until it's gone.
I want to return to Japan one day, I don't know when, but I'll definetely go back. What is it that I miss about Japan? I miss the people, the culture, the environment - in short, just about everything. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think of something funny or something stupid that happened to me in Japan.
To everyone that I met, I hope that I wasn't too much trouble!
No matter what your hopes and dreams, if you want it enough, and you are prepared to work hard enough, then you'll achieve it.
